Mendoza, Argentina

Enjoying the fake summit!

Stopping for a snack and a photo opp on (Montana Lomo Blanco)

On Thursday we drove out to Vallecitos and did a hike. The hike started at a ski area, though not sure how popular it actually is for skiing. We saw some Guanacos along the way.

The champagne tasting with Laura at Chandon. Everyone's favorite!

The vineyards at Bodega Norton.

A night out in Mendoza at Antares.
May 19-May 22, 2009

We left BsAs on another overnight bus and arrived in Mendoza on Tuesday (5/19) morning. Wine country is usually the first thing that pops into your head when thinking of Mendoza, so finding a busy town with lots of traffic and smog was not quite what we expected. However, once you venture out of town is when you can find the amazing parts of this area. We packed a lot of things into a short amount of time and really got a great introduction to Mendoza.
