July 8-July 9
Wednesday, July 8 we took the ferry back to the mainland and headed north to Grenada. We are working our way to El Salvador to meet our next visitor, Laura, on Friday. We only had time to spend one night in Grenada. It is a spectacular colonial city in which many of the old buildings have been restored and well maintained. It is one of the heavily touristy areas with lots of expats owning restautants and other businesses.
