On Sunday we drove from Antigua to Guatemala City to send Laura on her way home and continue on our trek across CA. It was only about an hour from Antigua and we were all quite impressed to see how clean and well layed out Guatemala City actually is--definitely some city planning involved. We drove around the airport and to Parque Central to walk around a bit before heading to El Remate, a small village on Lake Peten Itza.
