San Cristobal, Mexico

Sierra Madre Mountain Range

Passing a windmill farm along the drive to San Cristobal

San Cristobal was another interesting city to stop in along this journey, only we wished we could have stayed more than just one night. It is one of the typical colonial city’s with cobblestoned streets and markets to wonder through, but also has an amazing country side and indigenous villages nearby that you can take horseback rides through (maybe on another trip). Also the cool climate from the rise in elevation was a welcomed change from the past several weeks.
