Tulum

For the last 3 nights of Mom and Dad’s trip we stayed in Playa del Carmen. The highlight was visiting Tulum only a short drive away. The Mayan ruins of Tulum sit up on small cliffs along the beach of the Caribbean, which makes a spectacular view. (Our photos don’t really do it justice). It used to be a major port town for coastal trading. This was the end of the road for Mom and Dad’s vacation and the beginning for our next visitors, Richard and Peggy! We have pictures from the week of Aug 1-8 that we can show you once we get home.
